Are you that student?  Are you the one who is ready to learn?  

If so, who will be your teacher?  Who has appeared in your life that can invest in you, prod you on, speak into your life, provide guidance and input, and help you get to the next level in your life?

Maybe you don’t know what the next level is.  Maybe you’re still searching.  

To get to the next level, we all need teachers along the way.  I use the word “teacher” broadly as a teacher can be a parent, a sibling, a friend, even, a stranger, or an acquaintance. A teacher is a coach or mentor. A teacher is one who imparts knowledge gained from experience as well as study.  A teacher is one who imparts wisdom.  

Look. Listen. Be aware.  He or she—that teacher—is there, waiting for you to enter into that classroom, that place where they can teach, and you can learn. 

But whatever you do, don’t ignore or neglect your need for learning.  Everyone needs a teacher.
